Besides our local market branches, Accountable Therapy Staffing also has a Travel Division which services clients and candidates nationwide. Accountable Therapy Staffing [Formerly Medrec, Inc.] receives JCAHO Staffing CertificationThe Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations has awarded their Gold Seal of Approval to Accountable Therapy Staffing for exceeding national staffing standards for healthcare quality and safety.

Peter Knight-Sheen is the President of Accountable Therapy Staffing a highly specialized recruitment, staffing and consulting firm for therapists and nurses. Accountable Therapy Staffing is a 33-year-old family-owned and operated organization that began in 1974 recruiting nurses from the UK. In 1991, Accountable Therapy Staffing, shifted all its focus to the therapy industry. At that crucial point, Peter and his brother Chris came home from college during the summer and became the only two salespeople for the company.

Peter graduated from Texas Christian University as a Distinguished Military Graduate and entered the Army with a regular Army commission. During his years in the military, Peter led hundreds of soldiers in Korea, Germany and Bosnia. In 1999, Peter left the military as a Captain in the military intelligence corps to join his father's company Accountable Therapy Staffing.

Over the course of six years, Peter has grown the company by over 300% and instituted a value-driven philosophy that ensures stability for therapists and nurses, and quality for clients. Peter's unique approach to candidates and their families has helped him to build the largest pool of PRN, contract, travel and direct hire therapists in Texas. In 2007, Accountable Therapy Staffing formally opened a nationwide traveling therapist division. In 2011, Accountable Therapy Staffing expanded to include nurses once again.

Peter is a family man. His wife Megan Kunze and children Amalie Anne, George Burkeley and Elsie Magee are his pride and joy. When not traveling, Peter enjoys fly fishing, snow skiing and competing in multi-sport activities.
